Once again a big thank you for yesterday, it was such a good night and I loved my makeup so much, still got my hair waves in now, don't want to wash it later :-( Plus I didn't want to take my makeup off when I got home...I will pass on your details to some people here, plus any of the girls when they're going out...I'm definitely going to get you to do mine again for my next big night out.
Mira did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for the Variety Club Showbiz Awards, it was a massively glam night and I felt very special, I can't believe how easy she made it look curling my hair, it's not often you can trust someone to do exactly what you want with both your hair and makeup and come out feeling more than pleased with the result. People kept telling me I looked like a movie star, I'm already looking forward to my next excuse to have it all done again...A lovely lady who will put you completely at ease and can deliver exactly what you want!

Mira was an excellent beautician in every respect. I had one trial previously which I was not happy with. Mira did my make up beautifully, understanding how to make me look stunning for the wedding day without it looking too thick or unnatural. I was going to originally have another professional hairdresser to do my hair, but Mira started doing it during the trial and I really wanted her to continue, so chose then and there to go with her for hair as well. Mira has a great personality. She made me feel totally comfortable and on the day, really took care to make sure I was completely happy with everything. I would certainly recommend her for your big day!

Just a little note to thank you sooooo much for doing such a fabulous job on my wedding make up.
From the moment you arrived you were a fab calm presence in amongst a bride, 4 bridesmaids and 2 mums that were all stressing!!! You made everyone feel completely at ease and were great at dealing with all our different demands and also the time pressure we gave you as we were running a bit late!
I can't thank you enough. You did an amazing job not only on me but on my 4 bridesmaids too who all have such different looks and all looked absolutely stunning. You completely transformed all of us to absolutely look our best and bring out our best features but also keeping a really natural look which you know I wanted. The colours you chose not only complimented all of us but you also took into consderation what we were all wearing and the effect was perfect.
In fact, I barely recognised myself! I am using one of the pics from the wedding in a presentation at work and my boss said I actually look like a glamour model - ha ha!!!
Thanks so much. I think you might have a few more make up requests coming when the other 4 finally tie the knot as I know they were all thrilled with their make up also.

Mira was our make up lady at my best friends wedding in August 2008 and she was fabulous! With four bridesmaids, a bride and mothers running around all trying to fit in hair and make up amongst several other tasks, she was very calm and professional and helped out in any way she could. I am quite fussy when it comes to make up and despite not even having a trial with Mira, she did such a wonderful job! I didn't want to feel like I had a face caked with make up, yet wanted it to stand out in photos and last the whole day whilst remaining fairly natural. How she achieved all this I do not know but I felt great. She used all the top brands and new exactly what colours to use against my skin tone. Thanks to Mira's magic touch, she contributed towards what was a perfect day (I wish I could use her every day!)

I booked Mira to do my wedding makeup in May 2008. I was very impressed with her makeup skills and her friendliness. The makeup was perfect for the day and lasted all the way through to the early hours of the next day. When I met Mira for my makeup trial she put me at ease straight away and my mum and Chief bridesmaid instantly clicked with her. On the Wedding Day Mira turned up early, was well prepared for any hiccups that could come up and even managed to squeeze in my mum, Sister-in-law and my Chief Bridesmaid. I would recommend Mira to anyone that was looking for their makeup to be done.

At any wedding the focus quite rightly is on the Bride and her bridesmaids and therefore naturally the Brides mum but what about the Mother of the Groom and having gone through it I can now say I wish I had spoilt myself more than I did for my eldest sons wedding, so when my best friend was to be Mother of the Groom we talked and decided to spoil ourselves and have our make-up done and all I can say is the whole experience was wonderful.
In my working life I have worn make-up every day but have felt for some time that I needed to update the way I applied my make-up but not wanting to do this in public in a department store I did not know where else to go to for help. Imagine my delight when not only did Mira work her magic on me using some wonderful products I had never heard of but she also freely advised me on how to apply my own makeup products some that I have been using for years. Imagine my pleasure when not only on the wedding day did I feel like a million dollars but friends and colleagues have remarked since about looking different my new style make-up has made me feel more confident and given me a new lease on life.
As for my friend who was to be Mother of the Groom she works from home and has never worn much makeup even when going out for the evening. Her main concern was that the makeup would be too much but asked her son to speak to the photographer. He advised that some definition around the eyes especially for an older lady was always advisable for the wedding photographs Mira fully understood this having worked in many different areas and seemed to know just what the photographer was talking about and could put my friends mind at rest even offering to do a no obligation trial make over at a very reasonable rate.
My friend was absolutely delighted on the day Mira made her look and feel years younger what a pity we didnt know beforehand that Mira did Ladies Evenings where she teaches and gives help and advice about makeup. It would have been a super opportunity to get some of the lady guests together for a fun evening before the wedding.
We are both fortunate that we have got younger sons!!! Having said that we thought why wait lets just get some friends together and all contribute to paying for Mira to help us enjoy a fun evening improving the way we look!!

I thought I was good at applying make-up but I have never been able to achieve the perfection that Mira had the skill to do. The look that was achieved for me was very natural and pretty, I did not feel like I was wearing make-up yet it lasted all day and did not need any touch-ups. I love the colours that were used and they very cleverly complicated my natural colouring. I normally do not like other people doing my make-up but I will defiantly allow Mira and would highly recommend this very talented lady.
